Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

Just in the daily press, EON has published the new prices for basic supply – including construction power... It goes from 33.68 to 46.80 gross as of June 1st... Follow-on effect, hooray...

Can construction power also be obtained elsewhere, or are you always tied to the basic supplier here?

I connected it at the neighbor's. Of course, this assumes a willing neighbor (with a current electrical installation) and an electrician.
This saves me not only higher electricity costs but especially the crazy connection fees from Bayernwerke (which were briefly discussed here too). Also the rental cost for two to three cable bridges because the nearest distribution box would have been so far away.

The construction site power box also has a meter number as already mentioned, if you have a meter you can choose the contract ;)

There are no neighbors yet ^^ there are connection pillars on every property... The most expensive option that Bayernwerk naturally offers

Well, that doesn't necessarily have to work. Providers can block that (was the case here). Therefore, we moved the house connection inside as quickly as possible before the house was heated up.
Because if you put aside heating/drying with electricity, not much electricity is used for construction power. It's a few hundred euros for a single-family house. Whether the kWh costs 10 cents more or less doesn't make much difference.

Currently, the district heating is being discussed... I think the biggest consumer will be the crane...
