Um, the "things" meant were the photovoltaic modules... I assumed the slightly bluish color, which you probably really would never see...
But if you now say the whole frame is aluminum-colored, then I definitely need to talk to the seller again, because that wouldn't suit me... I thought everything is always black except for the glass.

Something else: hip roof... does it have to be that way, or can you still be converted? I thought the house should be modern.

Nope, conversion pointless and undesired ;).

No offense, but in our eyes, a gable roof is neither nice nor modern. We are fans of hip roofs, and if we ever don't like the place anymore, it certainly won't be because of the roof shape :D.
But luckily, tastes differ, it would be bad if everything looked the same...

As a hip roof owner, I can maybe add this: in hindsight, I regret this decision and would have preferred a gable roof. More space for photovoltaics and storage, a bit cheaper, and by now not just a follower design but timelessly classic.

We have sacrificed a good deal of efficiency and prioritized the aesthetics – this seemed appropriate to us within the overall concept of our house. There are 9.99kWp on this roof. The tiles are Creaton Domino black engobed (so not glossy), some of which carry photovoltaics and come from Autarq. By the way, nice due to the good area utilization, also for hipped roofs ;)
