Right. And do you want to save on a few sockets? Equipment costs money.
At the beginning, I was also hesitant, and after a short consideration, I filled everything. It ended up being 140 sockets and 70 switches/controllers/thermostats.
What do you want to be annoyed about in a few years over something like that?

We still have a wooden kitchen stove with a viewing window in the kitchen. It runs every day in winter. And since it is so cozy, no one voluntarily goes to the living room. There is a fireplace there too, but it only runs on weekends. Somehow, it just developed that way. The kitchen is our place. It used to be like that as well. The living room was only entered on Sundays.

We also charge them in the kitchen, sometimes all 6 devices at the same time. However, this occupies 1 socket, which provides the necessary connections via a 60-watt power supply.

And right next to it is the charging station for the Fritzfon.

"Back then" you probably managed with 4 sockets ;)

Maybe it's simply a case of operational blindness. Decorators also mostly have way too much overloaded decor or overly styled apartments - they no longer see when it’s time to stop.

No matter how you do it. The socket is rarely where you need it. Or there are too few. So better to install enough right away. Saves a lot of time and money later on.

I have now decided against LAN after all, I actually don't have a use case for it anymore and in the future it will become even less likely. Except for my work laptop and the TV, no device has a connection anymore and they all run on WLAN anyway. I am eagerly waiting for Air Charge from, for example, Xiaomi, then the numerous sockets would also be unnecessary, but unfortunately it will take a while until it is suitable for the masses.
