Keep dreaming. No one can afford their own house on Sylt or at Lake Starnberg, which they can then easily pay off once the parental home is inherited (especially since siblings usually also need to be paid out). Even a couple of doctors without children has no chance of owning a house in such areas unless there is starting capital from the family (there was once an article about this in Spiegel).
If the inheritance tax were to be 50-75 percent without exemptions (as demanded in the post I quoted), even the last local would have to move away.
I originally come from an area where exactly that has been happening for decades. Every second house there belongs to a football professional or some other super-rich people who are only there for a few weeks a year, and everything there is tailored precisely to this clientele.
