This is a calculation determined by mileage and duration of ownership. 26 cents per km with a short ownership period (for a new car) of 6 years fits well. I forgot to mention my ownership period of 10 years, my mistake. We are not that far apart. Whether one wants to spend 10-15% of the residual value on comprehensive insurance after 3-4 years is something to consider. In any case, we are both far from the extreme 90 cents per km, and that was what I wanted to show.

Why is this thread repeatedly being misused for other topics? Now we're already talking about car insurance. What's next? Prices for bread rolls or the best cooking recipes? Our construction phase is coming up soon and I would really like to know what experiences other builders are currently having, for example to be able to estimate what buffer to plan compared to architect estimates. But for that, I have to click through over 240 pages, of which maybe 10 are relevant. Please create your own threads for your surely also interesting topics. THANK YOU

Personal hygiene, you forgot personal hygiene. ;-) But you're right, and I understand you. I am also very interested in the development of construction costs, and I am currently thinking about the title of a new thread.

No, that comes in another transport module and exactly only the tools he needs.
It’s quite possible that each sanitary company permanently has transport modules bound to them, but they also drive independently to exactly the locations where they are needed. Meanwhile, other equipment that different trades occasionally but not always need constantly runs around with the same configuration (mini crane/core drill) but on order of the respective trade. For example: a ventilation unit is ordered for day X on construction site 4711. Half a day later the module with the core drill and piping arrives, unless the ventilation technician schedules his own deployment for the day after tomorrow because he has to fit in an assignment at construction site 0815 the next day.
Think in possibilities, not limitations!

Don’t we see very clearly right now that these just-in-time supply chains can easily come to a halt? A little sand in the gears and nothing works anymore.
Should the craftsman on the construction site just wait an hour until a missing tool is delivered to him?

Of course. The craftsman has the maximum possibilities when his van is well stocked for all cases.
