Regarding construction costs: the civil engineer will go into short-time work starting next week. Several construction projects have been canceled at short notice due to financing or material shortages…..

The rumor mill says that a plot of land was also returned in our area. The groundwork had already been marked out there....

Also a small comparison, yesterday we bought a double rod panel fence for an acquaintance directly from the "manufacturer". 50 meters 1 meter high in 6 5 6 for surface mounting with 2 doors. We paid about 1500 euros for it 6 years ago. Currently 2680. It is as described a few pages ago, everyone is increasing prices because the money is so cheap in the bank.

Currently, we are experiencing delivery problems with:

- Bosch controlled residential ventilation (apparently due to the enthalpy heat exchanger). Current delivery date end of June/beginning of July.
- Meter cabinets (just spoke with the electrician. Delivery time 10-12 weeks...)
- Bosch ground source heat pump (I need to speak with the plumbing company, no feedback yet)

Our carpenter said yesterday that he is currently offering fixed prices again because material prices in this area have stabilized. Also very pleasing for us that although we had agreed on a price adjustment clause, it will now not come into effect. However, there are delivery problems with insulation materials and bricks. With sufficient lead time, everything is still possible so far.

Interesting... Insulation and bricks were on our construction site 3 days after ordering. Apparently, there are regional differences.

My niece is not getting any bricks because they are no longer being fired. I think it no longer has anything to do with the region. If the warehouse is empty, there is nothing left. You either had a manufacturer who is still operating or there were some in stock somewhere in the supply chain.
