Coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker, blender, food processor, knife, sandwich toaster, handheld vacuum cleaner, kettle +? are permanently plugged in?
You forgot the yogurt maker, dehydrator, electric can opener, ... ;) (I still think my grandma's electric knife is cool. :D)
Above the cabinets there is a 4-row socket for the kitchen lighting transformers.
But that’s more lighting and not the classic socket.
On the side a 5-row power strip for laptop, cell phones, tablet, etc.
In the kitchen?
On another wall I have 2 x 2 sockets for vacuum cleaner, ironing board, etc.
In the kitchen?
Then 3 more extra, they’re usually free. That’s usually where the Wi-Fi extender goes.
If they’re usually free, then 15 would have been enough. :p
Anyway, if I add up all the sockets in our kitchen, I get 17 pieces, including fridge, oven, steam cooker, dishwasher and robot vacuum. (The extractor hood is hardwired, so no socket.) So actually it’s only twelve, of which presumably nine are only used temporarily for hand mixers, immersion blender, sandwich maker, etc. The high number only results from the fact that we are planning two islands, between which of course no cables should hang. Otherwise, eight or so would have been enough easily.
Regarding the main topic: Our electrician is definitely anything but cheap, but he only charges 50 EUR for a separately fused socket and 35 for an additional one.
