Because it's fun. Unfortunately, the conditions are hardly given anymore and it is more relaxing to flow along with the traffic.

Not really proven? Surely everyone has a different opinion? There are very many studies on the subject and all show that a speed limit does indeed have an effect. Take a look at studies from countries where the speed limit was reduced and therefore have good comparative values.

Same here. I like best the argument like "I personally find it very relaxing to cruise with a speed limit..." - and the others are supposed to comply accordingly.
Can you please give us a reasonable reason why you consider 130 km/h to be the limit of reason? Why not 70/80/90/123.7?

I actually mentioned 130 as an example. I think anything below 120 would probably impair travel time on medium and long-distance trips too much. Whether 120 or 130 makes the most sense, I would leave that to the mathematicians who have studied to perform such calculations. Personally, I don't really care.

maybe let's focus on the construction costs again. We won't be able to please the 130 supporters anyway :-) I also find this discussion pointless because it leads to nothing. Some like to drive fast, others don't. But I think imposing these regulations on everyone is niO... we might as well restrict ourselves much more in life

Construction prices:
If the global economy weakens due to rising interest rates as a result of inflation, the oil price could fall just like prices for certain building materials.
Everything that is burned or requires gas, such as construction chemicals, clinker, bricks, etc., should remain expensive.
