Hmm... that's probably a matter of opinion and certainly depends on personality. It would really stress me out to stand as a saleswoman in a crowded store and listen to the nagging. And you should never underestimate or downplay other people's stress.

.....we have awesome weather and I'm currently knocking moldy drywall off the wall in the workshop with a relieved feeling, because it probably was just an old water damage after all and not the sewage pipes. I still have to work in my side job, I'll do that outside then.

Interest rate jump from yesterday to today from 3.20 to 3.45 for 20-year loans...

Let's see where we stand in July when the banks have to additionally secure loans...

Intense, considering that in February you could still get 20 years for just under 1%.

But when I drive through the new development areas of the last ten years in Bavaria or NRW, I see exactly such buildings. Especially when the building land is not extremely expensive. Large houses, lots of glass, little garden. However, families will continue to need space and therefore want to move out of the cities.

I don't believe that. Without children, this clientele would buy condominiums or continue renting to have short distances to work and the leisure facilities of the big city. Without family planning, for example, we certainly would not have built.
