Raise the energy standard. I wrote this completely neutrally as I cannot form an opinion on it due to a lack of expertise.

This is a purely theoretical consideration. If you consistently apply this cost allocation across all areas of life, we will very soon be back at the standard of the 1950s here. I do not believe that people are willing to make such massive restrictions to face an abstract threat. The flooded Dutch with tanks will have to come and drive us out of our houses and snatch food, means of transport, and all beloved comfort from our cold hands. It won’t happen voluntarily.

For that, more net income from gross income is needed in that area. Unfortunately, that will not happen. The "additional income" from the minimum wage has long been allocated. In my opinion, the minimum wage should be tax-free.

Not only as builders but as biological beings in general. If we have to pay for everything we cause (even beyond the construction of a house), the way we live our lives will be over. For some, this will be easier, for others more difficult.

I think much, much further back. Basically to the time before industrialization. Except regarding the number of children. (I write this neutrally as well. As a democrat, I believe that the majority should decide.)

I agree with that if we no longer have any innovations. Unfortunately, I also do not believe that individuals are willing to do so. Therefore, this is also a societal task. Yes, this will not happen voluntarily from the perspective of the individual. We do not feel the consequences enough yet and will probably only act when it hurts. The pain will happen. Probably not because the Dutch come — the immigration pressure will increase enormously worldwide. We can already measure this and still ignore it from our daily lived reality. More and more people, less and less area with a good basis for living, and not only the necessity to survive but also the desire for our fetish “growth and prosperity” mobilizes people. I am a great optimist and still believe: It will get much more uncomfortable if we do not act politically sensible as a society. Unfortunately, this is not a theoretical consideration, but a consequent one — at the end of July 2021, we had consumed the renewable resources for the year 2021. We overload the Earth by a factor of >1.7. Every individual can say, “My share is not decisive — I still catch the ferry.” This is how every ferry is overloaded. The question is only when this happens and not if. Which conditions must first prevail in order to react is a good question. They will occur. The later we start to act, the harder the consequence will hit us. Bad news: Building must become much more expensive. I do not like that either. As a democrat, I support this statement 100%, provided it always includes that majority decisions guarantee minority protection, because this is also an integral part of a democratic basic order.
