I sometimes think some people use this media attention on the shortage of timber to increase their own profit margin. It doesn't matter whether the stuff comes from China, Poland, or the neighboring federal state.

One will also be allowed to see whether the lowered prices actually reach the consumer, like the past price increase did ;-) Sympathy for entrepreneurs is certainly misplaced, and anyone who tried to make semi-legal price changes to contracts belongs on the blacklist

When it comes to steel, it depends on the form in which it is needed.

We requested three sheet thicknesses in the company. The middle thickness was slightly above last year's level. The other two had triple the price. Completely unreasonable.

I am curious about the delivery times. According to initial forecasts, not promising.

Is there such a blacklist? The post must have at least 30 characters, but I don't know what else to write.

Blacklist in terms of local exchange of experience and thus influencing the reputation of the entrepreneur as a crook.

You don't have to feel guilty about that either, craftsmen also talk (across trades) about clients, in my experience.

Can you currently notice anything that the situation may be normalizing again?
