Of course, one can also be in a bad mood oneself if a vacation with the children in the south can no longer take place or if one might have to do without. Sure, there are always people who have it worse, but that is really no standard. Unlike you, I have no sympathy here for those who cannot afford a house. Because everyone here can get an education free of charge in Germany and attend the schools/vocational schools/universities that train one for a good job. Those who do not want to or are not diligent enough also do not have the right to necessarily live in a house.

And is everyone intellectually capable of this? Or do the parents support it accordingly (the parents decide the type of secondary school)? There are a thousand reasons why this is not given to everyone.

Try searching for disposable pallets on classifieds. Sometimes they are even given away for free.

I have to vehemently disagree with you!! In retrospect, unfortunately, I did too little for my career choice to have a good job now. Nevertheless, I took this "right" (which you speak of) and built myself a nice house this year. And with only a little more than minimum wage.!

Yes, and what does that tell me now? Intellect, appearance, or family are of course all partly a matter of luck. But it is equally a matter of luck to be born here in Germany and not in Somalia. Should I therefore feel pity for everyone who does not have our standard of living here? Hardly, because you or I cannot change that. Only through free education (unlike in many other countries) can everyone be given the opportunity to study or receive a good vocational training. The other circumstances cannot be influenced at all. Luck is simply a part of life.

Oh dear... that is really walking on thin ice now...
Equality of opportunity is only seen on paper. It has many facets. And I will simply overlook your last sentence.
