The emphasis is on 2 years ago. Concrete is available to us at normal prices, clay mostly not at all.
Orders are only being accepted again for 2023, depending on how the gas situation develops in winter, it won’t get any better in 2023

That is clear to me already, which is why I explicitly wrote it. The message was: if crazy price surges are being demanded now, it’s not because bricks are higher quality and therefore have to cost more.

We have received another rent increase with index rent. 10% more - Wow - you have to be able to afford the rent. The rate stays the same for 20 years :)

How long are your garages inside?

6 meters?! A Harley is parked sideways at the back, a Passat fits in front... the garage is used once a year. A carport is much more convenient: 3 meters wide over 4 meters area... the driver also has plenty of space to get out.

Some people will be surprised. Additional costs plus rent increase plus. But hey - once we are out of here and have given notice soon, you can ask for even more. The division continues. Affordable housing? Goodbyeee

Indexed rents do not exist here, as far as I have noticed, fortunately not. Everyone who still has old rental contracts also lives quite cheaply here in the countryside. Our immediate neighbors pay only €550 rent for their entire house, and they already have a new roof on it, so it’s not a dump. But anyone looking for something new here sometimes searches for two or three years and has to dig much deeper into their pockets (and that with the lower wages here).

Actually, the thread should be renamed to Smalltalk ;)
