Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

One hears that some stone manufacturers are lowering prices in Q2...

For this, wages in the main construction industry in the West will increase by 2%, in the East by 2.7%, and there will be a one-time payment of 1,000 EUR for everyone. Additionally, 5% in the basic materials industry and 5.2% for those who manufacture machines and vehicles. And in the [öD] it will also go up, so many fees will be increased.

The falling building material prices will at best compensate for this. The trend is upwards, solely because less is being built and the shortage is growing.

Here the increases for [Stadtreinigung] and [Müllabfuhr] have already come as well. Overall, it amounts to around €80-100 per year for us.

And wastewater is free? Still, 1.85 is cheap.

We are at €1.45/m3 and €16.04 basic charge per month in the district [sächsische Schweiz]. I think other services are also included in the basic charge.
