Nowadays, you can surely sue successfully against that. Or just ignore it and wait until you can really kick the authority that complains about it in the ass through the media landscape and in court.

In a new development area (!) just around the corner, there is a prescribed maximum size (max 50% of the roof area and then still quite a large distance to all sides... I had already made a thread about this here). I found that quite strange... Basically, there were times when it was considered "not nice," but with newer development plans it already seems absurd and outdated. But it also shows that sometimes it might be better to make fewer regulations in development plans to avoid leaving such relics behind....

Do you know why? I'm interested because the installation of photovoltaic systems, as I assumed, is politically desired and corresponds to the spirit of the times.
