Exactly - that's why used cars cost a lot today, while 3-4 years ago they could still be bargained for with big discounts. Markets are dynamic.

After a few days ago "our" bank already stopped offering construction loans with a term of >10 years, the next bank in the area has now followed suit - and the interest rates are rising again... I'm curious to see where we will stand at the end of the year

Has there been any change in the meantime and the bank was able to improve the offer to 2.92 percent. Now it means waiting for the bank's approval

How much do you expect the interest rates to rise in the next 10, 15 years that you want to commit yourself to 2.92% for 30 years?

Can't you exit after 10 years anyway? So in case the interest rates are then below just under 3%
