It also heavily depends on whether you are driving more of an Up or a Q6.... Car length plus 80 cm plus the desired usable depth for the stuff would be my absolute minimum approach. And if it's tight, you must never choose a larger car as a successor later on.

Although with less than three usable meters in width, you will hardly be able to get out with the Vespa or the barrels if there is a car parked there.

How long are your garages inside? I would like to put the trash bins/Vespa against the wall in front of the car, for example... Currently, 6m are planned, but that seems tight to me...

Since we integrated the storage room directly into our garage (without a separate partition wall) and want to park a caravan (instead of a car), our garage has the following (floor) dimensions: Width 2.90m x Length 7.86m x Height 2.525m. I don’t know the interior exactly yet. (There is exactly one caravan on the market that fits into the usual standard garages. I am cautiously not naming the brand because I’m not sure what might be interpreted as allowed or prohibited advertising.)

I think asking about the garage size here doesn't do any good. So many different measurements come up... Mine is 9.5x3.3x2.3. But only the bicycles and the motorcycle including the workbench and a large shelf for garden tools are inside.

Our Nelskamp are untreated and I can already say that after a few years they won’t look as glossy gray as they do now.
Apparently, you’re not supposed to treat them at first because concrete gets even harder over time(?!) and the tiles basically get better after 2-3 years.
I was told you can have them treated later, which costs about 4-5000€ for the complete 100 sqm bungalow roof.

Those who can should take engobed ones, hardly more expensive and last forever.
However, our house builder wanted a pretty steep surcharge for our budget.

I just want to point out that this 4-5000€ corresponds roughly to the material price for engobed clay tiles.

or rather, those were the standard prices.
I don’t know what it looks like currently.

We have a "depth" of 5.5m because unfortunately there was no more space. That's enough for a station wagon without anything behind it or a small car + bike. 6m is certainly a bit better; if we had had enough space we would have gone for 7.5m, then it's also good with a workbench or similar.
