I really am glad if it helps you!

No, Häcker was not more expensive than the previously planned Nobilia.. To be honest, I can no longer remember why we switched to Häcker at all, but something must have (unfortunately) convinced us back then..

And to be honest, I still haven't really been able to settle in / get used to it.. That’s really annoying..

Daily, my stomach turns. News about prices and especially electricity prices – I can't hear it anymore. Why?
(WK-internal) – Because politics does not go to the roots. Electricity is scarce and expensive. The latter is absolutely true. But scarce?
Our wind farm in Fürstenau is barely running anymore. At least, when the wind is blowing. Not because the machines are defective. Not because the grid is tight. No. Because there is speculation on the exchange.
As wind power operators, we have been forced to participate in this exchange. By the legislator. Now it is said that we get too much for our electricity. For August 2022, we received around 46 cents for our production on the exchange. That is shameful. You must not tell anyone that. But we are not to blame. We have to go to the exchange. If the electricity were at least scarce and we supplied according to supply and demand for this price. No.

Currently: Today is Saturday, September 17, 2022. Our park could produce around 8000 kWh per hour. But it is curtailed. Curtailed because there is speculation on the exchange again. That should not bother us at all. We are fully compensated for the curtailed “electricity.” The customer pays. He is told that electricity is scarce and he must save. In truth, he pays for the electricity that was shut down and thereby made scarce and does not know how to manage it.
Perverse. Sorry.

Hundreds of thousands of kilowatt hours have thus not been produced by us. Because politics does not have this on their radar at all. Turning on nuclear power plants because electricity is scarce. Burning coal again because electricity is scarce and also quite a bit of gas into power plants because electricity is scarce. And shutting down wind parks – so that electricity remains scarce. Dear electricity customer: you are being fooled and so are we.

I would like to supply the next baker with affordable electricity, the next settlement or the next factory. I am not allowed to. Because the big players make the business, for themselves and not for the public. And politics is playing along once again.

As an overview of how everything works and what to watch out for, I found it pretty good. I got it myself from a recommendation here in the forum. However, I must admit that I did not implement the algorithm for the cheapest price. That was too much effort for me. But I am quite confident that my price is generally okay, even without umpteen percent discount. The government was already aware that they were building massive capacities that cannot be regulated at all and that are combined with facilities that can only be regulated slowly. That is why there is a) the premium for shutdown and b) the plan to build gas power plants by the dozen, which are operated with gas from NS2. At some point "later," a solution for storage was supposed to be found. The so-called energy transition was from the outset extremely dependent on gas.

Electricity price comparison Europe: Netherlands on average 12! cents. No wonder that RWE and the like have so obediently waived the surcharge, they don’t want to ruin the big business they already have through increased attention. Eon keeps raking in money nicely, had the nuclear phase-out paid for richly, and the general public is now paying the surcharge nicely. Everything truly bad ...

Stop gas power generation by moratorium for one year, end of story, problem solved. But somehow nobody can, wants, or is willing to do that.

"The media" and our highly praised public broadcasters do not seem to be particularly interested in the matter either. I hope that at least the gas levy will be abolished when Uniper and presumably soon also Sefe are/will be nationalized.
