What nonsense. Photovoltaics optimized for self-consumption are not oriented strictly to the south, but evenly to the east, south, and west to produce electricity as long as possible during the day. I can mount the modules on the house roof, garage, house roof, facade, balcony, fence, privacy screen, whatever. Where there's a will, there's a place for a photovoltaic system.
And you probably won't have shading in all directions. Just excuses
We wanted photovoltaics, got advice, and it turned out that due to the shading from the neighbor's trees and the neighboring buildings, it doesn’t yield enough for us. We would have preferred it differently as well. In the meantime, we have a carport, maybe it will work better there; we still have to deal with that. But there are also roofs that get shaded, and as an owner, you can’t always change that.
Honestly, I don’t understand your snotty tone and the accusation, and I think that’s not okay here – please communicate reasonably with me or don’t at all. I simply asked a question because I’m interested in the answer, not to be talked down to here.
