Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

I ordered my new employee lease car at the end of January for mid-June (the return date of the current one). It has since been postponed to mid-September. :rolleyes: Fortunately, I was able to extend the old one today and unlike building materials, the price does not change.

Which ride ever had such a short delivery time? (-: Corona and Ukraine surcharge on top of that now: you were very late with January though

The swap relevant for construction financing is currently correcting slightly. From the high of 2.0% to 1.70% at 10 years. The same direction applies to the German government bond yield. Maybe you can still use that for a renegotiation, if the application is currently running... just as a tip...

Can you possibly explain exactly what the swap is? We also have our final meeting next week and if I just tell him the swap has fallen, he will fairly quickly realize I only picked it up and have no idea ^^ Accordingly, he won't improve/adjust his offer ^^

This clearly goes beyond the scope here. Very simply put, it is a refinancing rate that a bank has to pay to, for example, purchase money with a 10-year term/fixed interest period (even though many banks partly refinance themselves through savings deposits, which would fill books again). For example, DZ HYP publishes Swap Mid rates daily. And there, the 10-year rate was almost 2% in recent days, today at 1.71%.

In the Frankfurt metropolitan area and even beyond, house prices remain steadily high. We looked at a house last summer. 40 km north of FFM, highway connection okay, public transport rather poor. Solid house, 70s, over 3 floors on a steep slope (with a magnificent view), 160 sqm, large garden was just newly laid out. The backlog of renovation, the suspiciously musty smell and a dubious crack in the basement wall (on the steep slope, mind you) were less convincing. They asked for 480K and the realtor babbled something about the bank even valuing it higher. We decided against it. Months later the house reappears on a real estate portal, with a price of 520K. Let's see if it appears again soon... That you reduce the price if you don’t find a buyer is common. But the other way around???

That could also be easily solved if the registry office notified the tax office, etc. via push that someone was born.

I think that already happens. For my friend's granddaughter, the lifelong tax ID came shortly after birth ;)
