Don't get annoyed, he won't be here long anyway like all his predecessor accounts... Already within the first posts he revealed himself as Durran, Peter Pohlmann, mhbbau... but maybe can take the matter into their own hands... He disqualified himself for a discussion on equal terms months ago

Right, that's the bird again. Can't it be brought down? I'll even take care of it personally. :p

According to a paper available to the world and circulating in excerpts on the internet, the EU Commission is planning a combination of electricity saving and a price cap to keep electricity prices under control. Excess profits of electricity producers are also to be clawed back.

Full speed ahead towards a market economy welfare state.

It is indeed correct that something needs to change. Recently, however, very little sensible has ultimately come out of it.

In our old apartment, we also had fly screens glued into the bathroom. It served its purpose and was really quick and easy to install on the small windows (40 x 40 cm).

In our condominium, we have fixed-frame fly screens from the window manufacturer in most rooms, and in two rooms we installed fixed-frame fly screens ourselves from Lidl for €20. Both types are good in quality.

My conclusion: Except for the fly screen on the double-wing terrace door, I would never take fly screens from the window manufacturer again. There are three reasons for this:

1. I do not see any quality difference or added value that would justify the price difference compared to the fly screens.
2. The window manufacturer installed them so stupidly that you can only remove the fly screens if you unscrew the roller shutter rail on one side first. But you cannot reach this without destroying the screen...
3. In two rooms, he screwed them so stupidly that condensate always collects between the window frame and the fly screen.

What kind of mind is, you could already see from his other accounts (Durran and all his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th accounts on my ignore list, etc.). As if it wouldn’t be noticeable when you always use the same writing style and the same choice of words? :D

Well, we are curious to see what price will be set for an EU-wide price cap on electricity?

I hope they do it like in France and cap the electricity price at 17 cents. That would be great of course. Then the electricity price would simply be halved for many.

Of course, that won’t happen. We have the lowest pension level and the highest electricity prices. That will certainly remain so.
And from an electricity price of 58 cents per kWh, heating with a heat pump will be more expensive than heating with gas.

But back to the fly screens. They are of course not included in the financing, so you have to save exactly there.
