I have my opinion for the following reasons:
- In new buildings, a heat pump should use so little electricity that the additional basic fee eats up the advantage. If this is not the case, the heat pump is either misconfigured, or the new building is too poorly insulated (or there really is a very good tariff).
- Heat pump tariffs allow load management, so the heat pump can be turned off during peak times. But heat pumps do not want to be turned off, they want to run continuously. Additionally, a more powerful heat pump is needed to compensate for the downtime. Both of these lead to additional costs.
- Really cheap heat pump tariffs - in my opinion - will not exist for much longer. They mainly exist because coal and nuclear power are difficult to regulate. Both will not be around for much longer.
- The likelihood of photovoltaic systems increases with every heat pump and every electric car. And by then at the latest, the dual tariff causes additional costs for the electrician.
There is one advantage if you have a heat pump tariff: when photovoltaic systems come, you probably have enough space in the fuse box if you can get rid of the old junk. ;-)
Sorry for the OT...
