That is not an impression. But I find it absurd that we have now received the 4th request for additional documents. As if you can't request everything at the first time. The process is as follows:

1. We submit the building application including the conversion to the building authority.
2. The building authority sends the conversion documents to the forestry authority.
3. The forestry authority requests something and sends it back to the building authority.
4. The building authority sends us the forestry authority’s request for additional documents.
And then it starts all over again...

The simplified procedure only took 3 or 4 days for us. I believe it helped somewhat to submit the documents in person. Otherwise, it was known beforehand that this process would be quick. The municipality bears no responsibility in this matter.

Personal visits to the citizen service or building authority are possible with a prior telephone appointment. For example, that’s how I got the card for the [Wellenfreibad] or my recently lost key (for the new house!).
