Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

The current ideology will not make building single-family homes or buying existing ones any cheaper either. Currently, once again a report: For environmental protection reasons Minister Geywitz wants to curb the construction of single-family homes Single-family homes are often environmental offenders. Building Minister Klara Geywitz therefore wants fewer and differently planned new buildings. However, there should be no regulations on the square meter limit of apartments.

So 5-8t for a single-family house I had read several times. We are still getting foundations, so I assume 10t. If the price is currently at 2k/t, that would be 20k just for the steel. Where was the price a year ago?
