An offer per pallet Poroton 36.5 T14 was 168 euros, another dealer at 191 euros. 60 bricks per pallet, same manufacturer.
Plus 8 euros deposit for the pallet and 180 euros transport +180 euros crane unloading at the construction site for 36 pallets. 36 bags of adhesive mortar are also included and included in the price. The brick is KfW 55 without further insulation. It doesn’t matter where I want the delivery in Germany.
There might be a small surcharge on pure transport. That could be. But that has nothing to do with the material price.
Offer is from yesterday and for private customers without any company discounts.

Total offer: 5704.00 euros. (and that was the more expensive offer)

36 pallets roughly suffice for an entire house. Plus a few lintels for windows and doors. Let that be 500 euros.

It’s a mystery to me how anyone can come up with such utopian construction costs. And folks, these are precision planed adhesive bricks. It’s like Lego.

Doesn’t matter at all whether I have the construction site in Chemnitz or Landshut.
Even prices for ready-mixed concrete etc. are roughly the same throughout Germany. Windows, doors, sockets, or electric cables.
Don’t tell fairy tales!

That is already a 12% difference by itself.
And then the different transport costs. No one here is talking about more. But if you define away all differences and then say there are no differences, you might as well save your explanations.

You can still build cheaply with your own effort.
But in times when a 4x6 roof batten S10 costs nearly 2€/lfm, a 5m roll of Wakaflex 80€ etc., it is difficult.
But yes, for 160-180k you should still be able to build a 100m2 bungalow yourself. Including additional construction costs. Standard plastic windows, door, etc.
No stove, no built-in fittings in the bathroom, cheap flooring and a simple heating system assumed.

This typical overestimation of the shell construction, especially masonry, because it "grows" there and the change is very visible ... is moreover actually a trade whose labor costs significantly exceed the material costs. But whoever suppresses a 12% price difference and possibly even calculates it in net terms has their own world and truth. A house basically consists of masonry at the smallest, but then it is just an open cave. The costs lie elsewhere.

One of the largest items: installation. Material and labor costs especially skyrocket there.

New example of price increases. I have obtained offers for window glass in the last few days. The first offer (from Monday) is already invalid today and will be calculated with a 10% price increase from now on. The second supplier maintains his price quoted the day before yesterday until tomorrow. From 01.04. also +10%. Reason given by both suppliers: Increased energy costs. P.S. I also noticed this online, but I preferred to buy locally.
