Offer for the insulation of a gable wall 90 m2 WITHOUT scaffolding, WITHOUT extending the eaves with regular ETICS and plaster = 230,-€/m2. The wall has no window and so far brick slips. Somehow I had about 150€/m2 in mind…

My wife always makes high-end sourdough. But it doesn’t take 3 years. Start the basic sourdough once and store it in the fridge for about 2-3 weeks, after that it’s easy. Take sourdough, top up to desired amount + 100g. Let it rest for one day, put the 100g back in the fridge and fill the rest into form(s), let it rest for 180 minutes (and no longer) and then bake for 70 minutes. You don’t need yeast, no oil, nothing. Just flour and salt. The first breads taste good and after 2-3 months the sourdough really gains flavor. Our kids don’t prefer any other bread (despite 100% wholegrain spelt/white/rye). If you bake a lot yourself, whether with sourdough or yeast dough, I can definitely recommend a grain mill. We have a Mockmill 100 (bought used a few years ago from the classifieds for just under €100) and since then we’ve only bought whole grains. It’s cheaper and the flour is guaranteed fresh. Milling time for 500g is maybe 1 minute – of course all wholegrain. For waffles and pancakes, I mix 50/50 with type 405 flour. Two years ago the B95 cost me €260, the BE would have cost €650. … now we have a van with 3t GVWR. It’s allowed to tow 2.2t, but I’m only allowed 1.25 :( I asked here a few months ago, the current feedback then was also €160/m². But I think that was for new construction. In existing buildings they’re really charging a lot right now.

Apparently, (as always) prices are increased by the BEG subsidy. In some cases, this is also noticeable with photovoltaics and the fairy tale tax. This way, the energy transition won’t work. How are, for example, pensioners supposed to afford this? It is tempting to say: It no longer pays off, after me the flood!

The question is, do I spend my money on a photovoltaic installment payment for the rest of my life, or does the house remain without photovoltaic and I go on a cruise, or otherwise on vacation/eating/direct child support

You are rather cheap there. Around here it costs about €400. And sure, you save money, but for the €400 extra you could now really drive trailers instead of just a little more.

I also first bought a 3.5t trailer for €1600 and then did the BE license for about €700 (minimum hours including fees). Unfortunately, I can’t fully utilize the 3.5t because my Sprinter is only allowed to tow 2t. The trailer already weighs about 300kg, so 1700kg remain. What made me suspicious is that the tax is around €120. The thing just stands around all the time and doesn’t even have an engine, but costs as much as a small car. Insurance is cheap at €40 per year in comparison. So far, as I said, it mostly just stands around because we haven’t started building the house yet. I will use it more often then, e.g., for disposing of construction waste from the GU, wood purchases, or similar. I don’t think it really makes sense for gravel, unless you only need a small amount of material. But for crushed stone/sand/grit, I prefer to have the stuff delivered with a 20/25t.
