I find your heating oil prices really tough. Here in the Lower Rhine/Ruhr area/Rhineland, as of today, we are at €1.41 per liter.
I believe it hasn't been this high here since the beginning of the war. At least I know that back then I had talked to people and the price had climbed over €1.40. And as far as I have seen, it hasn't been cheaper since. Unfortunately, we couldn't refuel at another time because we only moved into the house in September and had to refuel before winter. I also find it a pity that in all the discussions about relief measures, oil (and pellets) are somehow never included. Depending on the oil price and the gas price cap, oil customers would then be the ones paying the most.

That is not correct. It is now politically discussed to also "cap" pellets and oil. But how this is to be implemented "fairly" is the really exciting question. In all the years I have been interested in politics (from about age 20 to now 55), I have never perceived a measure that did NOT result in a redistribution from the bottom to the top

Ok, then I just hadn't heard about that yet. Yes, fairness is always a tricky issue. With the gas price cap, it seems so far that the design again favors those who need it less.
There should be a relief for pallets, oil, etc. The gas and electricity price cap does not exist yet. The electricity price is supposed to come in January and gas in March (or maybe not). It is definitely not fast.
Now the price jumps for oil are not as extreme as for gas and electricity. Diesel has doubled from 1.159 to currently 2.209... Gas has tripled from 7 cents to currently (here) 20 cents. And for the large consumers, the price increases are even much, much more extreme.
