Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

So my basic supplier has now lowered the electricity tariff to 26 cents. But when I look at these outrageous spot market and also future prices, I know what will happen in January. I just hope that normalizes again in 1.5-2 years. # Ölkrise 2.0

Maybe not that, but a quick look at Wikipedia shows that the Thermal Insulation Ordinance '95 specifies a maximum of 100 kWh/sqm. The house was practically up to new-build standards in ’93.

Would you have the water pipes installed on the surface or within the floor structure during the new construction? It would be cost-neutral... With surface installation, minimal loss of space, but better accessibility.

Any other pros/cons?

Who would seriously install (Wasser) pipes surface-mounted in new buildings?!
