Not construction costs, but that's rarely what this is about anyway :p: Since last week, the following has become more expensive for us: Water-sewage: +15% Electricity: +20% Trash fee: +35% We still have a fixed price for gas, but that is temporary. That will definitely go up sharply as well. So we will end up with about 400€ monthly household costs. KfW55 is gone and interest rates are now rising. The thin air will become even thinner for many. I think the pain threshold (maximum prices) should be reached soon and will remain constant for a few years at first... Does anyone have current numbers regarding interest rates?

Outstanding debt at the lbs is about 90,000 euros for 1.7%. I was a bit taken aback when my colleague told me that. Although he is currently paying 3.6%, but in 8 months the 10 years will be up. Can someone confirm this?

Certainly a hefty forward premium, but I might possibly close it now as well. Interhyp shows 1.26% - the values usually fit quite well.
Two years ago I locked in 10 years fixed at 0.53%, also with LBS. That was close to the best point.
Today I wanted to buy drywall profiles, which were about 2.5 times more expensive at Bauhaus than usual.
Then I called the drywall center (specialist trades dealer).
There I still got reasonable prices for galvanized profiles.
