Floor cooling in underfloor heating? For us, I think it was a difference of 1.5k whether the pump was with or without. Opinions differ as well, one says "cold feet," the other installs an air conditioner (yeah, hard to compare with an air conditioner or not at all). We’ll see. Today we’re doing 2x battery showers, 1x tub, and selecting the tub itself. Let’s see what comes out of that. We’re doing toilet bowls and cabinets in EL, because we didn’t want to pay the surcharge X there as well. Keep me updated on what ends up being selected.

You can’t fit a 20kWp system on the roofs of normal city villas (150m² living space). Even if you calculate with 4m²/kWp, you need 80m² of roof area... my hip roof has at best 60m² usable on east, south, west, the rest are slopes and required free spaces. And factor 4 is already ambitious, usually people calculate with factor 5-6?

And then the question of sense arises?? A 20kWp system costs... 25,000 EUR? Sure, in the 3-4 winter months you generate 450 kWh/month, so almost 2,000 kWh. And the remaining 8-9 months, when the heat pump is not running, then about 18,000 kWh. Of that, you feed in 15,000 kWh, currently for... 5 cents/kWh?

That is for people who like autonomy and can afford it. Economically speaking, that is far from any economic feasibility consideration.

Meal:

In January, we harvested 233.5 kWh with our 13 kWp system, with a household consumption of: 640.0 kWh. In Feb. 22, 434.7 kWh was generated and consumed: 526.0 kWh... so you can see, even a small photovoltaic system can deliver quite well and ensure sustainability.

There are also bungalows. At our place, two roof sides are fully (the most productive) covered and we reach 13.26 kWp with 340w modules. If we now take 410w modules and fully cover the other two sides, we estimate about 30 kWp.

And what do you do in July with the estimated 1,500 kWh you generate then? Surely about 1,000 kWh go into the grid for 6.x cents each... I mean, it's nice if you enjoy it. But financially, it doesn't pay off, does it?

First of all, it is now 7.5 cents from 10 kWp. And secondly, they have a cloud :-)
