That's not insane, someone is paying for it, it's just too much money anyway..

At that time, we paid about 500€ in Lower Saxony for a swinging door (terrace) and 2 windows. In retrospect, I wouldn't pay that again. We also had a second offer for the whole house (I think 7 windows and the swinging door) for 3200.

How was it... not everything that limps is a comparison? :D
Even if we don't have it ourselves, an insect protection ROLLER should function quite differently from an attached gauze.

Last year we also stuck the "premium" ones from Tesa in the bedrooms, but this year we tore them out again and replaced them with ones that have frames. We would do it that way again anytime. The gauze itself also noticeably differs at times in terms of air permeability.

I would always do windows myself. It's not a huge deal.

Only for the big sliding door to the garden do I consider something more "professional".

Function or effect?

There are also DIY roller blind kits made of aluminum. Then you're looking at around 100 euros per window plus labor. But still far from the figures mentioned here. You just have to build it yourself. Time is money, after all.

What solutions are there actually for a lift-and-slide system for insect protection? I've been pondering for a while now how we should do it.
