Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

We are still desperately searching for an architect - hopefully the glimmer of hope will come true and the search will finally be over - and also for a construction company to carry out the work - there is hope here, but communication is difficult to nonexistent -.

The current situation - at least for us - is still a pure plea and begging for an audience. Emails are not answered, calls are not answered - I assume because they are busy at the moment - but also not returned. Considering that the single-family house market should actually be booming at the end of the year, the construction companies are still very little service-oriented. Chasing after them annoys me greatly.

I seriously don’t want a freight truck sent all across Germany just for four reinforcement mesh mats for a small pool.

Don’t worry, of course that doesn’t happen. The routes are collected and planned in such a way that it’s worth it and the truck is as full as possible. So it makes no difference whether your local building materials dealer or you yourself are being supplied.

Does anyone else have such extreme delivery problems with the windows and aluminum profiles? It has been postponed again and again for us, and there is still no delivery date.

Gladly. I sit at the computer all day and video calls are part of daily business. :) Are you also in the green forum? Then you can feel free to write me directly via PM there.

Another addendum regarding availability... Construction steel does not seem to be the problem (according to our structural engineer)... the actual problem (for us) is bricks (Poroton), which are no longer available at all. According to him, all construction sites are listed and now being processed step by step... no one can say when we will receive our bricks.

One more point out of interest: Has anyone recently ordered a brine heat pump including deep drilling or received an offer?
