Unfortunately, that is exactly the case, but sadly very few understand that.

So your sources of information of choice are Telegram, Reitschuster, and RT?

This claim is also nonsense. Media tend to report in a one-sided manner, and humans are, sorry, so simply wired that they are easily influenced. Additionally, there is the tendency to want to belong to a specific group. "The vaccine opponents," "the sheep," "the wolf cuddlers," etc., etc. Sometimes our species annoys me quite a bit.

Yes, I completely agree with you, our species annoys me nowadays too (-:

For example, what is that supposed to mean? What counts as a quality medium to you? All those shows where, on a topic, they invite 4-5 people who share the same opinion and one other who has a different opinion just to attack them? I’d rather watch Summer House of the Stars because I know from the start that it’s dumb.

I never cared before about what really goes on up there, unfortunately once you open that box it never closes again. For example, I had never heard of agent provocateurs before, and if someone had told me such things exist, I wouldn’t have believed it. Never again will I be able to watch a report about conflicts without questioning it.

So what should I read that really reflects reality, tell me. That two newspapers report different viewpoints well researched and differentiated: that was once upon a time. All uniform rubbish.

A few days ago I saw an interview with, was it ARD director Tom Buhrow? I was on the one hand shocked by this interview, and on the other hand had suspected exactly that. I can no longer recall exactly, but it was said in essence: That the public broadcasters had the mandate, at a time when the AfD nationwide enjoyed increasing voter support, to discredit the party by all possible means. Impartiality was not the order of the day. I read and hear, even without Telegram and other various conspiracy media, repeatedly such and similar disturbing statements. If one tries even a little to form an independent and reflective picture of current opinion politics in Germany, one will quickly realize that something is no longer right. Completely regardless of which political side one stands on.

Before the discussions here escalate again, I want to report completion of the house demolition. Everything went quite well, but only because I was involved every day, and by that I don’t mean hands in pockets and a seat on the podium, but rubber boots and in the dirt. The challenge was maneuvering the excavator on the virtually non-existent outdoor areas. With numerous old tires and wooden planks from the demolition house, it also succeeded without the sidewalk needing a new surface. When digging out the strip foundations, and due to a driver change in the excavator, on Saturday we still had to dig out and chip away about 3 tons of foundations at the last minute. Costs remained within the negotiated framework except for the last construction waste container, a few cans of diesel for the excavator, and small items (~ total 1k). Now there is still a trailer full of residual waste and the shed to be disposed of, then this milestone will finally be reached. Since I was very interested in finishing on time, I did not hesitate to make myself useful for a few days. Along the way, I learned a lot about the excavator and its attachments as well as the technology behind them. I can now change the tools in my sleep ;-). I found the concrete breaker fascinating. The excavator picks up the part like a shovel and a movable steel plate in this "shovel" crushes the chunks down to about the size of a tennis ball. In one day, the entire concrete was shredded. The concrete debris was then driven directly to a construction site where filling was necessary. I found that fascinating because I assumed that all of it would end up in the landfill. I was also told that the old wood is thermally recycled. So about 50% of the materials used in the old house have an additional purpose and don’t end up in some heap that grows endlessly.
