The single-family house is the dominant form of housing in today's villages and small towns. It obviously meets many of the typical housing needs of a person. The mega-rational slab, the technocrat’s answer (for others), we have now tried often enough. Both in the West and the East. Whoever wants can surely still find great LPG blocks in the middle of nowhere in the East to test. I rather believe that the current crisis forces the construction industry to become innovative and more price-conscious in some form. Otherwise, at some point, it will really be game over.

But back to the topic – by now, almost all threads here about financing and new projects have dried up. Also a sign…

The 10-year swap is slightly declining, so construction loan interest rates should also decline in the short term.

On Friday it went back from 3.60 to 3.51...
Maybe something will still happen on Monday

I also want to add the keyword "real satire" when it comes to building a house. For us, the height of the light strip (300cm x 88cm) in the kitchen was a bigger issue. I would have liked to place it directly at the height of the countertop so we could have a nicer view outside. Downside: It would no longer have been aligned with the other windows on the floor. My wife absolutely did not want this for reasons of aesthetics. We both did not want a general enlargement of the window. Now I have to come to terms with "our decision." The keyword actually helps me quite a bit with that. :)

On Friday, there was the strongest drop of almost 8%, which was solid. However, mortgage rates lag behind a bit in terms of timing. Let's see how it goes. If it continues, then it plays into our hands.

I wish you that! If they fall back to around 2%, that would be nice
