Inflation compensation leads to even more inflation. That is not desirable at all, not even from the perspective of the employee.
The golden years are simply over.
Politics must take care of the low-wage earners for whom it becomes existential. Everyone else will complain (it was better before), but will manage.
Populist nonsense like temporary fuel discounts must stop.
The ECB clearly set the direction today.
Bonds from Italy and others are likely to be bought, German ones sold.
Therefore, interest rates will rise here – someone has to pay for it after all.
Today I played garden landscaper for 2 p.m. and ‘earned’ my 1000€ – or saved it, depending on how you look at it.
PS: screened topsoil from the pit costs 8.90€ per ton.
I got 60 tons with a tipper loader, but the 3 hours should also be calculated at 150€ on top.
So when fully delivered topsoil costs 17-19€, that is standard. (Material + transport costs + labor + margin, depending on the distance)
In the ‘pit’ you naturally pay cash net.
Screed gravel has become 20% more expensive though (22.50 instead of 18 per ton).
