Especially since, although the last example mentioned that the overall rate was higher, first of all, this is not always the case, and secondly, it remains the same in absolute terms (assuming the corresponding financing). With rent, one can expect hefty increases.

... if one knows! that we private individuals require a large part of the energy for heating costs, then the most urgent problem is the many still uninsulated old buildings.

The climate would be great to protect if the Russians and the Chinese plus the Americans would just give up their military... True - but will that happen?

The climate change will only continue to be 'protected and ignored' as long as your house and the supermarket are not destroyed/looted by landslides/water/sinkholes/poverty migrants.

What do you think caused the last great migration of peoples? Climate migrants! After that, the dark Middle Ages began ...

Yes, exactly. I do not dispute this fact either. But it does not change the principle.

Not liquid assets. But much more interesting is that they have liquidity. Namely the liquidity that the tenant has to provide for their apartment.
So somehow liquid assets after all ;)

Independent of the aspect of protecting the climate, I observe the following: Those who have invested in the energy-efficient renovation/condition of their property in recent years complain less about the increased energy costs at the moment than those who have not invested. One's own wallet is then closer or more tangible than saving the climate,
