Man, I hope the [Förderkredite] for renovations still look halfway good next year.... we don't need huge sums, but with high interest rates it still hits hard quite quickly. I don't envy anyone who is currently buying or building a house. It is currently a nasty combination of high prices and high interest rates. I can't observe falling prices around here yet.

After all, it should possibly be possible again from 2023 to have own work or materials for own work funded under the supervision of an EEE, which would be interesting for us. Currently, I am trying to get craftsmen for summer 2023....let's put it that way. I actually thought it would be easier in the current situation. I don't really notice much yet that they might be less overloaded than in previous years.

The whole thing will get interesting in 7-8 years when all the "Auf Kante" loans at <1% for 10 years with 2% repayment expire. I think many have held a remodeling party with the cheap money. Best to save now and then pick up the bargains... As bitter as that sounds...
