That’s true. We are having our furniture including the kitchen made by the Polish furniture maker. He would need the induction hob including downdraft extractor for adjusting the cabinets. We wanted one from Bosch. Well, that was quickly ruled out because the delivery time is expected to be 10-12 weeks. Now it has become an Elica Tesla Switch.

That’s why I would source the electrical appliances myself in today’s times.

,

you are funny. You HAVE to plan the kitchen FIRST before a single stone is laid. Some come with a finished house and then want to plan and buy a "dream kitchen" 3 months before moving in. It always ends badly because nothing fits and you have to buy a kitchen with a bunch of compromises in the end. I have to say, those are the cases where I hardly feel like getting involved.

Those who think ahead plan their kitchen largely before the building application so that in the end they can call a beautiful, practical, and not overpriced kitchen their own. Few do that, but those who do spend weeks and months planning. Because kitchens are expensive, many appliances are not in stock.

That depends. We have only just now properly finalized the planning of our kitchen. We already knew the connections and where the oven, induction hob, etc. would go beforehand. Also the height of the countertop = windowsill.

On Monday, the Polish furniture maker was on site and measured everything. And will now build it. It takes about 1-1.5 months, then the installation will take place :)

Then I wonder what the employee in the kitchen studio is being paid for. And it's nice to read that there are obviously employees who hardly feel like making an effort when things get complicated. I hope your boss isn’t reading this. And how do you deal with those who are renovating an old existing property and the dimensions are basically fixed? Having to knock on the studio well in advance speaks for itself, one must be aware of that.

That makes it totally easy when the rooms, etc. are already there. Personally, we worked with the Ikea kitchen planner for the renovation to first see how it could generally turn out. This allowed us to find a sensible layout right away and we could determine where the connections and sockets should go. Later, we went to a proper kitchen studio.

That absolutely depends on the importance one attaches to the kitchen. Not everyone values the kitchen so highly or makes it the center of their life ;) Of course, early planning is sensible, for everything. But not everyone has the time (and desire) to spend months planning a kitchen. And not every kitchen costs as much as a mid-range car.
