Floors are missing because turnkey means you are responsible for floor and wall coverings. There is screed on the floor and the walls are standard Q2. Are shutters even included? That was not the case in 2019. But back then gas with solar was still standard and now, I believe, it's an air-to-water heat pump?!

Roller shutters are included according to the homepage. Solar pre-installation and air-to-water heat pump are included.

We did the same during the house construction because we had the old house demolished beforehand. Six months over the summer was manageable, but by October it was already taking its toll, and we were more than relieved when it was over. We wouldn’t have wanted to do it any longer. Outdoor toilet, outdoor shower in single-digit temperatures, kitchen in the awning, our coffee machine water even froze at night.

Town & Country now includes a lot that was still chargeable in 2020. Still, you have to look closely. Earthworks are "included," but only the removal of the top 30cm of topsoil. That almost never suffices, whether because of slope on the plot, frost protection, or load-bearing capacity. Sewer work, I believe, is extra, and that is also hard to postpone. Flooring and painting are owner-provided. Various small things like painting roof overhangs, boarding the attic, are also extra. If you build in BW, a photovoltaic system is mandatory, and that is not included either. Plus the usual things: soil disposal, utility connections, construction power,...
300k adds up quickly, even if the catalog says 250k.

Regarding plots, I would weight the criteria in this order: (affordable,) nice, practical location, big, cheap

Called our shell builder over the weekend. He said the following: - no interest and no orders currently for turnkey construction - only orders for shell construction or smaller things like extensions. Region: Bayerisch-Schwaben

May I ask which Swabian part, as I am currently also considering building.

I come from North Swabia (Donau-Ries).

Best regards
