I only just now see that I slightly misread your question. So we do not have a time limit to build. That would also be a criterion for us against buying the plot.

Does that mean the conduits are laid up to the installation point? Are the conduits then visible, or is some kind of cap placed in the wall/ceiling?

Well, the empty conduit comes out somewhere outside and then a cap is placed on it. Alternatively, you have to have it plastered over and later chiseled open.

How soon after moving in should the wallbox be installed? You hardly save any money with "just laying empty conduit".

My electrician charged 130 EUR for 2xM32 empty conduit from the distribution board to the attic and 160 EUR for 12m 5x10² cable to outside, plus 80 EUR for the circuit breaker (which you need anyway). You might as well have the cable pulled right away...

That is absurdly expensive. 50m of M32 empty conduit costs a private person less than 100 EUR in a specialist store...
