Then is it okay with you if the artisanal bakers die out and only the industry with unskilled, cheap labor, hygiene scandals, and additives remain? We have 1 supermarket, 1 discounter, 2 bakers, and 1 butcher. Catchment area about 8,000 inhabitants. I would be very sorry if the two bakers do not make it. I find it very one-sided to call baked goods fast food. Any discounter or supermarket or gas station could also be called a fast food shop.

I did not write that. I hope that the right bakers succeed. At least one still has a very nice train station café here and has thus diversified. In addition, there are changed opening hours (only open until 5 pm now), which is probably due to staff shortages. With three other bakeries, I think ... well ... also no drama if they (at least temporarily ... keyword season) stop.

Bashing? What does bashing have to do with reality? I watch a lot of political shows. And where the AfD is involved, it quite often gets embarrassing. That doesn’t mean the other parties do everything right. I find the Left just as bad, even though I think Gisi is a great speaker (experienced live once). I can find you dozens of right-wing extremist quotes from members. I don’t have to focus only on Höcke. Talking to you about it is just as pointless as talking to, for example, my 70-year-old father. Many in the AfD were in the CDU for a long time. By the same logic, does that mean the CDU was once Nazi? Höcke is a dangerous will-o’-the-wisp, but every party has some of those. In the SPD there are left extremists from the former SED. That does not make the whole party extreme.

Parts of the AfD are monitored by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. That shocks everyone at first. But the fact is: so far they find nothing, and the Office for the Protection of the Constitution is subordinate to Nancy Faeser, who herself is strongly criticized as a left extremist in the federal government.

You can only ever choose the lesser evil because the system itself is sick. And which evil that is, everyone has to decide for themselves.

I have never voted for the AfD because there were alternatives. Since the FDP completely turned around, there are none for me anymore.

One should still be allowed to say that! Honestly: anyone who moves in the wake of the AFD should not be surprised if they are placed in the right-wing corner. Regardless of that, I see no solutions with the AFD for the current and future problems as well as challenges in our country. It is very easy to criticize those who currently hold the reins from the role of the opposition. If the party were at least consistent within itself. When I read in the official party program under point 6 "Commitment to the traditional family as a guiding principle" and then see that the parliamentary group leader herself is lesbian and lives with another woman, then I consider the whole thing simply unbelievable.

A big difference to the other parties is that such people are quickly kicked out. Höcke, however, continues to be happily supported by the party, especially by the current party leadership. That does not exactly speak in favor of the AfD.
