I am strictly in favor of 10h for residential development! On the subject of missing connections or falling behind, just take a look at the fiscal equalization between the states, for example... Who opens their wallet the widest here because the economy is doing well
I experienced this in a small town in Baden-Württemberg where all citizens were against the construction of a wind turbine because it could spoil the unique natural landscape and the view of the church tower from a very specific direction. When the opportunity then arose to participate in the same wind turbine through a cooperative, and the farmer who owns the land learned how much rent he would earn in the future, suddenly everyone was in favor and complained why more of these wind turbines were not being installed in the municipality’s area... In the end, it always comes down to one's own wallet. A small example: We have had a balcony power plant for some time now, with panels totaling 750 watts connected to a 600-watt inverter. The consensus among family and friends was: "What nonsense, it can’t pay off, it looks stupid, devil’s work, what will the neighbors think!!1!!1!11!!!!" Meanwhile, in our family, we have installed three balcony power plants and have thus produced nearly 1,900 kWh together in the past 12 months. Each of us has gotten back what we paid on the electricity bill, and we keep our installment payments low. What do I want to say with this? Don’t always point the finger at "those up there in Berlin" or "those in the other federal states," but become active yourself and contribute to the energy transition. If many do a little, it is much better than if a few do everything.
