Yes - but from the bank's side, which finances projects of builders and project developers. Yes, there is one for various raw materials. Quote from a study by IKB: "World raw material prices continued their upward trend in February 2021: on a dollar basis, they rose by 7.4% compared to the previous month, which was reflected in almost all commodity groups." This is just one of many sources.

But I have also read that due to Corona (because of all the free time at home, many projects were undertaken), the USA, etc., the material became scarce as a result, and this is now being aggravated by dealers and media to achieve price increases. And that the warehouses will all be refilled shortly.... What is one supposed to believe anymore? And can one still dare to start construction – price increases and material shortages or even failures?

Yes, there are a few endless threads here in parallel that deal with the topic. So for the attentive reader, this is nothing new ;)

This is roughly how it was reported to me by the local roofer as well. The problem is also, first getting wood and insulation.

Wood insulation is practically unobtainable, battens are partly in short supply, XPS sold out in many places, EPS scarce, KG pipes as well. This is what I picked up in a homeowners' group where much is procured independently.

The "major" FH manufacturers are currently including price adjustments of 8-10% in their offers.
