Which cost drivers is the new government supposed to decide on to make house construction even more expensive?

Kfw55 or even Kfw40 as a minimum standard, so as a requirement. Only allow heat pumps. The minimum wage increase has already been announced. Those who have so far employed subcontractors from other countries receiving the minimum wage will have to raise prices.

These are two aspects:
[*]further raising of standards for energy efficiency [*]new funding pools

Photovoltaic obligation. Yes, I know, it pays for itself and generates money after x years... But the investment has to be made first.

I don’t see it coming by law, but rather as a logical and hard-to-avoid consequence of adjusting the efficiency criteria. Anyway, I definitely think it’s the right thing. As builders, we currently only pay for what we get plus taxes. We don’t pay for what we cause. Climate protection that is supposed to work in a capital-oriented society must, however, allocate the climate costs to the polluters. When that (sensibly) eventually happens, the costs for private single-family homes will explode. That may scare us from our current perspective and cause enormous resistance. Ultimately, it is completely logical that we must drastically reduce resource consumption and climate-damaging emissions, and people in industrialized countries simply consume the most per capita. Therefore, they must also make the biggest cuts themselves. How else should it work – except if one denies a danger situation like a child who covers their eyes and firmly claims, "I don’t see you, so you can’t see me either"?

- Many people install photovoltaics even without an obligation.
- Heat pumps as well. Pellets, wood, gas are rather unusual here, also in many construction service descriptions.
- The energy saving ordinance is also becoming increasingly unusual.
Therefore, I do not believe that an obligation will bring much more cost. Much of it is already considered standard.
When was the last energy saving ordinance house with gas discussed here?

Minimum wage affects everything, not just the house. Food, services, crafts, industry. Almost all sectors will have wage increases.
