They are really cute though. Just saw some at a breeding farm near my car dealer. Picked up our Zoe on Friday. Quite science fiction.

However, this assumes that a much better alternative will be invented quite quickly now...

If the power goes out and your apocalypse starts, your smoked pork belly in the attic won't help you anymore.

You have to be able to defend it too!

If in doubt, during the first attack, you have to earn respect first and stun the enemy with flashbangs.

So good night and don’t watch so much TV;)

You have to show me that sometime. I had several houses with storage heaters on my watchlist, but none of them was really cheaper than those with a 30-year-old oil burner I hope your plan also includes how to defend yourself if the neighbors want everything. Otherwise, the prepper stuff makes no sense... Facing reality also means that not everyone can build a single-family home on 3000sqm plots. The Americans have tried that and the quality of life there is not good. You already need a car to get to the neighbor three houses down. Without a driver's license, that's a prison. I definitely don't find that worth imitating. In any case, your scenario would be the end of civilization as we know it, and then none of it will help you.

I wanted to write that too, but I didn't dare because I don't want Rick to think I'm taking his wife's side too clearly. (Although when it comes to alpacas, I am definitely on Mrs. Rick's side.) ;-)
