Yes, that is correct. It can be calculated either active-active or active-passive. In both cases, you can currently assume that the compensation is limited to processing fees.

We have also gone through these thoughts and have also spoken to the bank about it.

I would only consider a cancellation if a potential follow-up financing is no longer possible within the monthly budget.

Thank you for the quick response. We are not afraid that the costs will get out of hand; after all, we still have great savings potential with the outdoor facilities and the furnishings. We rather fear that there will be a complete standstill in the construction industry if non-system-relevant productions are shut down and the general contractor therefore pulls the emergency brake or even has to file for insolvency should the standstill last too long.

I can understand the fear. We will start with the shell construction in September and hope to finish it by early ’23. By mid-’23, hopefully everything will have calmed down enough so that the interior work can be completed by Christmas. And even if it takes until Easter ’24, it is probably still cheaper than building a smaller house with higher interest in two years.

We signed our financing today and will sign the [GU-Vertrag] over the weekend.

We want to start in April 23 and are planning not to set up the Christmas tree 23 in our rental apartment anymore...

Sure, I could also bite my nails nervously in the basement with Duran and his pseudonyms and wait for the collapse of the Christian West... But nope, I don't feel like it.

I absolutely agree with you. We will definitely carry the project through. The shell construction is supposed to start in October; earthworks are already underway. We will only finalize financing in September. Just stopping now in the hope that it will get cheaper? You can forget it, absolutely! It's enough to just look at the asylum data. Living space remains a scarce resource, especially good living space.
