Construction costs are currently skyrocketing

There is practically no one in our environment who has a household income below €5000. Either people really live in such bubbles or it is simply different in Munich.

As a result, you automatically exclude some of your circle of friends. And this happens in all areas of life.

If they are really friends, you know the approximate circumstances. Then on the way there’s just a snack or an ice cream. At least that’s how it is in our group of women.

Then you should start looking for applicants in all directions, there are some facilities here that are already trembling because of the minimum wage and want to compensate by reducing hours (a good acquaintance is a ward manager in elderly care)

The problem is often the location. We are "far" from Potsdam and also Berlin. The minimum wage is relevant for nursing assistants (mostly career changers). Skilled workers earn well above that. You are welcome to establish contact with the acquaintance. A higher entry bonus is also very feasible for us.

I thought we always talked about powder-coated, whether green or anthracite. I built in NRW. Only galvanized are rather the fences for public or commercial projects ... right?

Here is a very concrete offer from a Polish supplier. These are 8/6/8 double rod panels, hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated in grey. The price is net, but I was still able to negotiate a little :)

Window update from the main contractor: The glass is now partially/fully available. However, the frame is missing. The appointment is at the end of August, rather beginning of September.

Damn, that is really very cheap! We had already looked up four prices and the cheapest was from the most distant supplier (we try to order regionally whenever possible). But I never thought the material in Poland would be so much cheaper. Also, the installation is a bargain! They must drill dozens of ground holes, use quick concrete, fix the fence, screw, etc. It takes at least 2 men and a full day for that – or am I mistaken?
