Of "both"? The only warmonger is Putin. Or has the West invaded Russia, bombed, or something like that? That would have passed me by.

OMG

No politics here please! It was only about gas and the resulting material costs.

A solution for NS1 is currently emerging from both the Canadian and the Russian side.

After a conversation with my architect, many currently have an approved building application for a small house but are waiting to start building. Many construction companies are working through their backlog of orders that they have been postponing. Everything is still running normally with the developers. The effects should become noticeable in about 3-6 months. Could this lead to falling prices if competitive pressure increases? How do you see the development in the coming months?

I find your analysis strange. Does this mean, conversely, that if someone attacked you, beat you up, possibly raped you, and took over your house, you would go to them and ask them to stay, but please don’t take your car? It would be exactly the opposite case. If NATO did not react and tolerated it, the Russian would already have taken Ukraine and Moldova.

Nobody knows that at the moment, as we have many unknowns. I can only give my subjective opinion. If a recession occurs, which many things point to, then raw materials and building materials will become cheaper. Labor costs probably will not, and it will take a long time before energy becomes cheaper. It is also possible that energy will remain expensive. Overall, construction costs will probably stay the same. It will be different with interest rates and regulations. Banks must build up more reserves from 2023 onwards to cover loan defaults. We pay for that, so loan interest rates will rise for this reason. In addition, from 2023 only the KfW55 standard will be accepted, and a photovoltaic requirement may also come.
