I have meanwhile learned never to buy a kitchen from a kitchen studio without their own carpenter or joiner.

I just ordered a new small L-shaped kitchen for the office, and you can cleverly build around such a stupid steel support with a small customized cabinet. We are a bit over the initially planned budget with now 4.5k, but measurement, installation, etc. is all included.
I will provide a photo once it’s finished.

We also have a tip from our contractor who recommends a smaller joinery shop. Let's see where we end up price-wise.

Two weeks ago, we obtained a first draft and an initial offer for a kitchen in our small semi-detached house; the second is to follow tomorrow. L shape with island, the only "luxury" is the cooktop with integrated extractor hood, otherwise everything is more mid-range standard, appliances from Bosch. We are expected to be able to keep within our budget of €17,500. The saleswoman stated that, no matter where we plan to buy the kitchen, we should definitely order it by 31.12. at the latest. The price would then be fixed. The manufacturers have announced massive price increases as of 01.01., and we could avoid these by placing an order by the deadline. Can anyone confirm that manufacturers usually implement their price increases at the turn of the year? It’s always the question of what you can believe from such a salesperson and where they might be bluffing :D

We heard exactly the same thing yesterday. Nobilia announced an 11% increase for next year. There was already a 7% increase this year. This roughly aligns with our price comparison from buying a kitchen two years ago. We were surprised at how much more expensive this one would be. However, we had chosen a "Chalet," while in the previous house we had a Sylt. These are apparently different price levels.

Alright, then we should definitely wrap this up by the end of the year. :D

At Höffner, there are always lots of discounts on kitchens, and if you don't like the price, they always ask the boss if something can be done. Which usually works. Joking aside.

25K for a kitchen? Do you really need that? I honestly have to ask. I would never want to put a "lower mid-range car" in my kitchen. After a few years, you don't like this or that anymore... In the end, you get annoyed. I think like .
And a €15,000 kitchen works in the end too, or does the price tag stay on the kitchen for guests?
