The appropriate keyword is "Humusbildung". Without it, forests bind only a fraction of the CO2. Waste wood is at least as important as the trees and should therefore never be burned.

The question is why we impose thinking bans and only say "can't do it, too expensive, dependent on others." Of course, my ideas are not fully developed and thought through in detail. I just want to point out that we need to be creative and innovative to shape our future.

Is it really so difficult for your climate fantasies to create a new thread? Are there no moderators here?

The possible solution corridor is relatively narrow. Not because there is only one solution. But because it has to happen so extremely fast that we can only apply existing solutions if we want to "win". And how to do it was already devised several years ago. If one now changes that again in 30 years through creativity and new technologies, be my guest. Until then, however, there is this one, relatively clearly defined path. Sounds arrogant now – but I didn’t make that up. That is the state of science. Anyone who finds contrary studies can gladly send them to me, I am interested!

The next 10 years we must be above all active to preserve our future.

The taboos in the climate debate annoy me too. It may be that nuclear power is not feasible yet, but why don't we research it? Maybe it will work in the future. Synthetic fuels, there are applications where diesel is indispensable, shipping, agriculture for example. It also makes no sense to dispose of millions of combustion engines or ship them to Africa so that they can still run there for decades. Driving climate-neutral is not saving yet but better than producing CO2. Are there CO2 storage possibilities? Just briefly mentioned. And then the climate activists should finally stop looking for a scapegoat and focus on themselves. Saying, I will avoid flying, is an attitude. Saying, look, the frequent flyers, Mallorca vacationers, are the bad ones is nasty scapegoating. I am better… no, you are not, just have a different life situation. I only drive 8000 km a year, but I would never condescend to a field salesman because of that.

Sorry. I can't help it. And yes, I would also find it good if the thread were split at some point. But that’s probably a lot of effort. Maybe we climate Smurfs just stay here and we open a new construction cost thread in parallel?
